Wastewater Improvement Project Construction Update - Week of December 11

Traffic Map

Construction continues with the installation of new mainline sewer pipe, manholes and connecting home services. This week 8” mainline pipe installation crews will be working on the G St., E St., F St. and Washington St.

Residents should expect various scopes of work being performed this week. This work includes the following:

  • Pipe installation across F St. - Between the train depot and G St. crews will be removing the train tracks and installing pipe across F St. and the train tracks. F St. will be closed and traffic will be detoured around.
  • Paving of Washington St, P St, and L St. - A paving crew will begin final paving of Washington St on Monday. Washington St. will remain closed at I St and R St. throughout the week.
  • Highway 341 Jack and Bore - This work will have minimal impact on traffic. Between C St. and F St. along 341 crews will be installing pipe under the highway by means of Jack and Bore.
  • Pipe installation crew return to Washington St. - A mainline pipe crew will return to work on Washington St. starting at the intersection of Washington St. and K St. working west (up Washington). Expect road closures and detours around the work area.

Please follow posted traffic changes. Local residents will be able to access homes on closed streets during construction.

The work being performed should not impact home utility services; if utility interruption is necessary the homeowner will be contacted directly.
