Wastewater Improvement Project Construction Update - Week of January 15

01.15.18Traffic Map

Crews will be working on MLK Day, Monday the 15th. Residents should expect various scopes of work being performed this week.  This work includes the following:

  • Mainline 8”Sewer Pipe Installation – Crews will be working on Washington St, D St, and F St. at the beginning of the week.  Crews will be working in the area of E St. and D St. on Washington early next week.  A crew will return to the E St. tunnel to complete work through and around the tunnel near the middle of the week.
  • 341 Jack and Bore – The jack and bore off the shoulder of HWY 341 between C St. and F St.  is complete, but please be aware the excavation will remain open this week.
  • E St. Tunnel Work - Crews will return to E St. to complete work on E St.
  • Connection of Home Services – Crews will be returning to the areas of E St., Noyes St., E-D Alley, and Hickory St. to complete the connections of home services.
  • F St. / G St. Rail Road Intersection – F St. may be closed during the week so modifications to the F St. / G St. intersection at the Rail Road Crossing can be made.  These modifications will allow for mainline pipe installation and make the intersection safer for traffic and pedestrians.

Please follow posted traffic changes.  Local residents will be able to access homes on closed streets during construction.

The work being performed should not impact home utility services; if utility interruption is necessary the home owner will be contacted directly.
