Application Process
- Application forms for current open positions may be downloaded or picked up at the Human Resources Office. Applications are accepted by mail or in person. Please note that applications being mailed must be post marked by the closing date listed on the job opportunity, and applications being delivered in person must be received by 4:30 p.m. of the closing date.
Available job openings are posted on the Human Resources website, bulletin boards throughout County offices and promoted in the local newspaper, the Comstock Chronicle.
- Procedures
- By submitting an employment application with Storey County, the applicant is thereby agreeing to the terms and conditions of employment with the County and conceding that all information supplied is correct to the best of their knowledge. Should any applicant intentionally falsify his or her employment application, it will result in an immediate dismissal from consideration for employment with Storey County.
- Employment Verification
- A contingency of employment with the County is an employment verification and background check. All previous employment will be verified by the Storey County Human Resources Department.
