Labor Day - First Monday in September
Nevada Day - Last Friday in October
Veterans Day - November 11
Thanksgiving Day - Fourth Thursday in November
Family Day - Friday following the fourth Thursday in November
Christmas Day - December 25
Floating Holiday - One day per calendar year to be pre-approved by the employee's supervisor. 
Any day declared a legal holiday by the President of the United States and/or the Governor of the State of Nevada will be oberved in accodance with the presidential or buernatoreial proclamation. Storey County may observe a holiday which occurs on a Saturday or Sunday on the day before or after the holiday.
