STOREY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR DEPUTY SHERIFF
Closing Date: May 16th, 2008
Salary for Deputy Sheriff $41,887.78 annually and full benefits offered including Dependent Medical, Dental and Vision coverage. Cost of living adjustment to salary after July 1st, 2008.
Qualifications for Deputy Sheriff:
- Current Nevada Category 1 POST certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED certificate.
- Social Security card and a copy of Birth Certificate.
- Physical Strength and Agility test required.
- Medical exam required (vision corrected to 20/20).
- Background investigation, drug screen, and psychological exam required.
- One year probationary period and FTO program.
- Shift work, weekends and holidays as required.
