William A. Maddox has served Storey County as District Attorney since January 3, 2011.  Mr. Maddox was the Carson City District Attorney from 1981 – 1984, and U.S. Attorney for Nevada from 1985 – 1989.  After being in private practice for a decade, he was appointed to the First Judicial District Court bench in Carson City where he served as district court judge from 2000 - 2009.
