It is the mission of the Storey County Victim Services Unit to provide support and assistance to victims and witnesses of crime in a responsible and ethical manner.  VSU Coordinator Eileen F. Herrington and our trained staff are here to help ease the victim’s journey through the court process.  Our services include: 

• 24/7 Access
• Assistance to victims in crisis situations
• Referrals for counseling and/or financial assistance
• Safety planning
• Assistance with restraining/temporary protective order applications
• Temporary and transitional shelter to victims of domestic violence
• Court accompaniment
