Emergency Management Plan
The Storey County Emergency Management Plan is the document that provides for guidance and checklists for elected and appointed County officials in mitigating, preparing for, responding to and recovering from natural and man-made disasters. It meets the requirements set forth by Nevada law the Nevada State Department of Emergency Management; State Emergency Response Commission, State Homeland Security Commission and the Federal Emergency Managment Agency. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
This plan is available for review by the public by contacting the Storey County Emergency Management office.
