Justice Court Bailiffs will enforce security in the Courtroom

No weapons of any kind are allowed in the building
Law Enforcement Officers exempted.

No smoking within 25 feet of the building

Courtroom Etiquette:

Please stand when addressing the Judge.  Addressing the Judge should start with "Judge Sir or your Honor."

There is no eating, drinking or chewing gum in the courtroom. No beepers, cell phones, electronic equipment, newspapers, books

Leave these items in your car or turn off electronics before entering the courtroom.

Proper courtroom attire is required:
Clothing which shows offensive slogans or pictures is not allowed.
Hats must be removed before entering the courtroom except in accordance with religious beliefs.
No tank tops, shorts or cut-offs.
Shirts and shoes are required.

Sit quietly when court is in session
Do not talk or whisper.
The proceedings are being transcribed or recorded and noise can interfere.

Do not bring children to Court if at all possible
If children interfere with the court proceedings, you may be asked to exit the Courtroom.

Media Guidelines
Media groups must follow the Nevada Supreme Court Rules on Camera and Electronic Media Coverage. Please refer to Nevada Supreme Court Rules, Part IV, Rule 229 through 247.
