Types of Records 

 

The Storey County Recorder serves as the custodian for permanent records dating back to 1860 and assists the public by providing access to copies of these documents. Documents you will find at the Storey County Recorder's Office include:
o        Real estate documents, including deeds, mortgage documents, tax affidavits
o        Survey and parcel maps
o        Liens
o        Marriage certificates
§         For certified copies of marriage certificates, please provide the groom's first and last name, the bride's first name and maiden name (or name at the time of marriage) and the date of the marriage.  *Certified marriage certificates must be obtained from the county at which the original marriage license was issued.
