Welcome to the Community Services Department
Our office is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities including: the coordination of our Parks & Recreation facilities; Special Events coordination; enforcement of civil codes & ordinances (not including building or fire) as well as our animal control division here Storey County. We also serve as a liason to several community support agencies. Our goal is to create opportunities for growth and enhancement by developing services and programs that promote citizen involvement and a strong sense of community while striving to increase the social, cultural, and physical well-being of our residents and visitors.
