The work of Emergency Management is a cooperative effort among all aspects, departments and divisions of County government. This includes Fire, Sheriff, Public Works, Budget and Finance, Commissioners, District Attorney, Assessor, Recorder and Clerk, all working together to mitigate any actual or potential disaster or event in a timely manner. Storey County Emergency Management works closely with local, regional, state and federal partners to provide information and assistance during emergencies.
