The StoreyCounty Sheriff’s Office is responsible for business license applications and renewals for establishments that serve alcohol, childcare businesses, brothels, door-to-door, escort, alarms, utilities or businesses requiring liquor or gaming licenses. All other Business License applications/renewals are handled through the Business Licenses Department. You must obtain a business license from StoreyCounty if you are conducting business, or if your business is based in StoreyCounty . A license is required for each location of business, and is not transferable to another individual. Licenses are transferable when there is a change of ownership, business location or trade name.

When your license is approved, your business license will be mailed to the business address listed on your application.
