The Storey County Sheriff’s Office distributes, awards and monitors permits for parking, concealed weapons, vacation watch and community service.  Please visit our Community Services Department for Special Event information. Applications are available at our office as well as via a downloadable Acrobat® PDF from this website. Upon receipt, the Sheriff’s office will review the permit application and notify applicants of their standing including both denials and acceptances. Applicants are advised they may not proceed with an activity until their permit application has been officially approved by the Sheriff’s Office.
