Storey County Conducts Primary Election Voting by Mail

Beginning the first week in May 2020, the Storey County Clerk-Treasurer’s Office will begin mailing ballots to all active voters for the Tuesday, June 9, 2020 Primary Election. As COVID-19 concerns continue, the County wants to eliminate the possible exposure or transmission of the virus among voters with the small community.

By conducting the election by mail, all voters will have time to research and vote within the safety of their homes. Voters are encouraged to return ballots in the pre-paid postage envelope provided. Ballots must be postmarked or hand-delivered to the Storey County Clerk-Treasurer’s Office by Election Day, Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

Voters are encouraged to confirm their voter records are accurate to ensure the ballot is delivered to the correct address during the initial mailing. Verify current registration information or make any necessary updates through Nevada’s Secretary of State website at https://www.registertovotenv.gov/.
