The Storey County Communications Center answers all emergency and non-emergency calls in the county and serves as the front line source between citizens and visitors and county agencies. Our communications specialists dispatch ambulance, police, and fire services depending upon the nature of the call received.

Our department is also responsible for comprehensive record keeping of all calls and the action taken. This information is made available should a call history be subpoenaed for a court hearing.
