The Storey County Assessor is responsible for the valuation and assessment of all property in the county, both real and personal. This includes both exempt and non-exempt properties. Additionally, our office provides vehicle registration services under the Nevada State Department of Motor Vehicles. The following are services provided by our office:
Property Value & Tax Assessment
Locate all property in the County and identify the ownership
Establish a taxable value for all property
List the value of all property on the tax roll
Assess personal property, business personal property, and manufactured homes
Handle all billing of business personal property and manufactured homes placed on the unsecured tax roll
Keep parcel maps on all property in the county current
