Weights & Measures certifies all scales, meters, and dispensers that are used by the public. The Nevada Department of Agriculture enforces Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapters 581 & 582.

The Nevada Department of Agriculture has included a list of current Retail Service Agents (RSA’s) that are licensed and approved to install, repair, and calibrate scales, meters, and dispensers in Nevada. The State of Nevada does not have any reciprocal certifications with any other state for certifying scales, meters, and dispensers, as well as Retail Service Agents.
