Welcome to the Storey County Manager’s Office.
The Board of County Commissioners is the governing body of the County, elected by the public, and the County Manager is hired by the board to carry out the policies, goals and missions it establishes.
The County Manager is tasked with the proper and efficient administration of County affairs as well as serving as liaison between the Storey County Board of County Commissioners, elected officials and appointed department heads, government and community agencies, businesses, employees, and county citizens.
Austin Osborne was selected by the Board of County Commissioners in July, 2019.
The County Manager’s office is located on the first floor in the historic Storey County Courthouse, 26 South B Street, Virginia City, NV 89440.
